Åsele market
The largest popular festival in Norrland according to the organiser, with around 200 stallholders, a funfair, performers on stage, folkrace and auctions. The dates for 2027 are published by the market at aselemarknad.se.

Åsele winter market
The original market was a winter market. It lives on as a smaller market in February.

A Saturday at the end of March, alongside the winter market. In 2026 it was held on 21 March
Åsele-Nappet
Ice-fishing competition organised by Åsele IK since 1963, with a prize table worth over SEK 180,000 and a first prize of SEK 20,000. Among the largest in the country.

The local heritage society's Christmas market in the church cottages and farm buildings in the area.
