Åsele town
The town lies on the Ångermanälven river where national roads 90 and 92 meet, with the bus station, shops and municipal services within walking distance. During the market weekend in July everything is fully booked well in advance.

Campsite, cabins and bed and breakfast
By the river two kilometres from the centre. Summer and winter cabins with two to four beds, rooms with breakfast, pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, and lean-to shelters. Service building with kitchen, showers and laundry, charging points for electric cars. Open all year round; the summer cabins have no water in winter.

Fredrika
60 km east of Åsele on lake Viskasjön, the nearest village to Björnlandet National Park. Own site: visitfredrika.se.

Campsite on lake Viskasjön
On lake Viskasjön next to the Sandudden bathing spot, sixteen pitches with electricity for caravans and motorhomes by the lake or up on the hill, and space for tents. Service building and summer café, bathing jetties and a barbecue area.
Cabins
Cabin rental all year round, with fishing, swimming and cycling in summer, ice fishing, hunting and cross-country skiing in winter. Run by Naturupplevelser Viska.

The villages
Gafsele, south of the town on the Ångermanälven, has two establishments, and several villages let village cottages and community halls, mainly around the market.
Hostel
Hostel in Gafsele's old school from the 1950s, on the Ångermanälven river. Rooms with shared bathroom, communal kitchen, sauna, garden and a restaurant serving Dutch, Indonesian and Italian food.

Fishing and hunting lodge

- Yes, Åsele Wärdshus on the Ångermanälven river, with a restaurant and conference facilities. In Fredrika there is Fredrika Hotell with nineteen rooms. Åsele Camping also has rooms with breakfast.
- How do you book accommodation for the market?
- Early. The hotel and the campsite fill up about a year in advance. The market keeps its own list of village cottages, community halls and hostels in the villages, and ÅIK opens a temporary campsite near the market ground with no advance booking. The campsite charges a higher price on the market weekend.

- Yes. Åsele Camping by the river, two kilometres from the centre, is open all year round, with cabins, rooms, pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, and lean-to shelters. In Fredrika there is Fredrika Camping on lake Viskasjön. There are four motorhome pitches in the town.
