Where to eat in Åsele
The list is short, on purpose. The hotel's restaurant and a patisserie with a bakery going back to the 1940s in the town, the hotel and the campsite's café in Fredrika. We know the pizzerias and the grill exist but have not yet verified them, so they are in the list at the bottom rather than here.

In the villages
Gafsele Lappland Hostel has a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner to its guests, and Lappland Pro Natur in Västra Gafsele has a restaurant and bar for its guests. Both under where to stay.

- Pike, perch, brown trout and grayling from the rivers and lakes, twenty fishing conservation areas in the municipality.
- Elk from the autumn hunt, which shapes the district in September and October.
- Cloudberries and lingonberries from the bogs and forests around Fredrika.
- Bananstubben, Konditori Kronan's own pastry since the 1940s.
